What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a gentle, one hour session where you simply lie down, get comfortable and listen to carefully played instruments, allowing the sounds to wash over you and the vibrations of the instruments to relax your mind and body
It’s called a “bath” because you’re immersed in sound — not water.
During the session, you’ll lie comfortably on a yoga mat or something soft, with a pillow and blanket for warmth and comfort.
We start with a short guided breathing exercise led by an experienced meditation teacher.
This helps to relax the body and to transition from the hectic outside world into the calm space of a sound bath.
You'll then be surrounded by the deep, resonant sounds and vibrations of three magnificent large gongs and the earthy, grounding sound of the didgeridoo.
The session is gentle, immersive and non-invasive.
You don’t need to do anything, follow any complex instructions, or have any prior experience. The pure sounds and deep vibrations simply fill the space around you, allowing your mind and body to slow down and unwind. Consider it a massage without touching.
Most people find the experience calming, soothing, and refreshing — like pressing a reset button for the nervous system.
The focus is on restoration, self-care, and nurturing - taking an hour entirely for yourself.
